Anchorage Hockey Academy

Welcome to the Anchorage Hockey Academy. Here at the Anchorage Hockey Academy, we pride ourselves on having the most complete camp experience in Alaska. Our facilities and curriculum are modeled after the American Development Model and will provide players with elite training, both on and off the ice. 

Players who attend our hockey camp will receive on-ice training each day. These sessions will teach players the necessary skills and techniques needed to grow their game. Our expert coaching staff will provide players with tips and tricks of the game that they can take with them long after the camp ends. 

Along with the elite on-ice training, players will participate in a variety of off-ice sports, games, and age-specific training. The multi-sport environment will allow the players to reach their maximum potential as an athlete, thus raising their level on the ice. The off-ice activities will consist of swimming, soccer, lacrosse, kickball, wiffleball, age-specific training, and a variety of other games! The better the athlete, the better the hockey player!

*Each group will be going to the pool one time each week for the 2024 Summer Academy* (We are still waiting on confirmation about this)

The Anchorage Hockey Academy will be held at the Dempsey Anderson Ice Rink from May 24th-June 30th. The cost of the camp varies depending on attendance and the payment plan selected. 

Camp Hours are from 8am-5pm. Doors will open at 7:45am for players to enter the facility. Players need to be picked up no later than 5:15pm

The following age groups will be offered for the camp listed by birth year:

Group 1 (8U) 2016-2017 (2018/2019 birth years need to be approved by Camp Directors)

Group 2 (10U) 2014-2015

Group 3 (12U & Older) 2011-2013

At the Anchorage Hockey Academy, players will have a blast becoming the best athlete they can be!

Attendance Options:

Full Camp Registrations are no longer an option. This was necessary to avoid raising the registration costs from last year. We have added a Meal plan option for $20 a day.

Week 1 - May 28th- $340

Week 2 - June 3rd- $425

Week 3 - June 10th- $425

Week 4- June 17th- $425

Week 5 - June 24th- $425

Unfortunately we have had to remove most our discount policies to offset the rising facility and labor costs. This did allow us to maintain the same registration cost as last year. Financial hardships or any other extenuating circumstances can be considered by contacting the camp directors. 

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2023-2024 Season.

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
